Job Description
The NAPA Integrated Business Solutions (IBS) model is a partnership program with vehicle repair and maintenance shops, where NAPA owns and operates the parts department within the customers facility. The IBS Sales Specialist works with both the District Manager and General Manager to establish IBS store opportunities for our company and independently owned operations.
Job Responsibilities:li/:Develop professional proposals for both private sector and public sector prospects. Ability to respond to RFPs in a thorough and timely manner. Able to develop and give power point presentations that sell the advantages of the IBS program. Provide brochures, videos, presentation materials, and targeted advertising to potential new prospects.:li/:Develop a prospect list that will ensure a continuous flow of new start up locations. Responsible for turning IBS prospects into new sites. Establish timetables for attaining new agreements and ensures obstacles are overcome.:li/:Assist General Manager and District Manager to ensure that the right people are in place at the new location to maximize growth.:li/: Drive IBS business to our major account customers and administer this program to multiple location user groups. Provide national support for program to ensure consistency with agreements.:li/:Initiate activity with large potential IBS customers to drive new business to other field / DC areas:li/: Provide monthly reporting and evaluation of the IBS effort to the General Manager, District Manager and Division Leadership.:li/: Work with the product department to provide adequate vendor support in key IBS product categories. Improve the overall network of vendor support and the IBS facility margins through improved acquisition costs.:li/: Be an active participant in both private and public fleet associations that allow us to expand our visibility. Attend regional/national shows and conferences that will allow us to achieve national prominence and exposure for IBS.
Qualifications :li/:A four:year business related degree or equivalent business experience.:li/:Demonstrated business to business selling and marketing skills.:li/:Strong negotiation skills.:li/:Solid closing (the deal) skills.:li/:Good follow:up and organization skills.:li/:Able to use MS suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, etc).:li/:Able to create financial reports and analysis for customers.:li/:Demonstrated leadership in the automotive after:market service industry is required.:li/:Possess high character and always deals fairly with both employees and customers.:li/:Provide strong leadership to the operation to create a high performance team via customer focus, open communication, a willingness to coach and provide feedback.:li/:Possess personal drive, self:motivation and initiative to accomplish company goals.:li/:Enjoy working with people in a fast:paced setting; be competitive yet has the ability to work calmly under pressure.:li/:Capable of remaining patient during long:term marketing efforts.
