Position Summary::/h2:
Responsible for troubleshooting, perform service and preventive maintenance to the stores. Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return while communicating with store personnel, facility engineering management, dispatcher, and lead mechanics on issues and resolution. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Essential Job Functions::/h2:
o Complete commercial carpentry skills such as installation of drywall, wall paper, ceramic and vinyl floor tile, cabinet, shelving, door and window repairs or installations; cement work, acoustical ceilings and locks.
o Complete and submit accurate reporting of time and vehicle inventory via company computer programs.
o Troubleshoot and make repairs in a timely manner by prioritizing calls based on importance
o Manage parts inventory
o Must be available to be on call as scheduled.
o Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations
Minimum Position Qualifications::/h2:
o High school diploma or GED
o Ability to work a variety of schedules as required (including nights, weekends and holidays). Overtime may be required.
o 5 years maintenance experience
o Valid Drivers license with no DUIs in the last 5 years
o Provide own hand tools
o Ability to read blueprints
o Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, and lift up to 80 pounds
o Basic computer skills to send and receive email, manage calls, timesheets, order parts etc.
o Ability to have flexibility in scheduling including some travel
o Ability to travel independently
o Ability to safely use portable electrical tools
o Ability to work as part of a team in a fast:paced work environment and a willingness to help all members of the department.
o Flexibility to handle ever:changing scope of assignments and projects.
