Our Associate Partner for CRM Strategy will be expected to lead and support Customer & Market strategy projects both in competitive sales proposal situations and on client engagements. This role involves gathering facts, analyzing the client's business (competitors, markets, customers, value propositions, operational models, etc), drawing conclusions, and reporting upon that work. The Customer & Market Strategy Associate Partner will: * Provide client and IBM team leadership in support of projects that span requirements, design, development, and deployment, as well as in support of sales efforts for new and future work; * Support the identification, development, and closure of sales efforts in support of an identified sales target; * Provide Customer & Channel Strategy subject matter expert (SME) guidance, strategies, and best practices; * Build and lead internal communities of IBM industry practitioners; * Lead or contribute to the creation of IBM positions on specific Customer / Channel Management topics; * Define, develop and use repeatable consulting industry solutions; * Transfer knowledge to local IBM teams through training and side-by-side engagement work Since the majority of our consulting work is done at our client sites, this position requires 75% travel and willingness to travel extensively in various parts of the world.
