Job Description
We have a client located just south of Delaware who has the following position open.
Basic duties include:
- Handling deliveries incoming and outgoing
- Assisting a member of the design team on in home projects (which could be inside or out)
- Basic facility maintenance – general upkeep of appearance at the facility, cleaning, sweeping, daily trash, etc.
- Support around the store as needed, whether that’s moving product between store and warehouse, helping set display fixtures, or just lending a hand
Any special skill sets which could overlap into the client industry will be helpful – examples: finish carpentry, mechanical abilities or past facilities management experience.
This position will be a “Support Role” and will at times be a very autonomous roll where a successful candidate will be able to be somewhat self-sufficient with their duties and even provide some leadership to another person or two. This person will have a lot of indirect customer contact and MUST be very well dressed and presentable in an overall casual environment. Candidates must be well spoken, clean cut and well groomed and must be able to follow direction and have sharp listening skills. A “clean” criminal, drug, and driving background record is required.
The position is full time hours, and will have long days essential along with some evenings as work often goes into the evening hours near the end of the year and Holiday season. This can be a temporary position or full time permanent year round position. At minimum if interested on a temporary basis the client will require a commitment of availability at least through December 20th.
Pay will be commensurate with experience in the range of $10 - $13 per hour with possibility of going higher up to $15-$16 with all aspects of this job having been proven through other on the job experience.
