The Associate Vice President Human Resources, Talent Management is responsible for the strategic development and delivery of talent initiatives for Bath and Body Works. This includes the following activities: Performance Management (ACR, PPO, MYR, IDP), Organizational Leadership Review, Leadership Development, Selection, Onboarding and Culture.
This role is the lead developer and executive director for Bath & Body works leadership development programs in pursuit of Limited Brands and Bath & Body Works business goals and talent strategies for Home Office and Stores organizations. The AVP has 2-4 direct reports and a team of 4-5.
Responsibilities
-Assess and determine organizational human resources needs, develop programs and processes to support the business needs; leverage organizational health and talent management metrics to drive recommendations
-Partner with Brand and Human Resources leadership teams to ensure the most effective and efficient talent management processes are in place
-Partner with Staffing and HR teams to optimize staffing processes; ensure we have appropriate sourcing strategies to attract diverse, top talent; provide training/education to improve the assessment skills of interviewers
-Ensure appropriate on-boarding and orientation processes and programs are in place to quickly and effectively get new talent up to speed
-Build strategy, coordinate and execute all aspects of performance management processes to include:
-Personal Performance Objectives (PPO)
-Annual Compensation & Year End Review Process (ACR/YER)
-Mid-Year Performance Reviews (MYR)
-Individual Development Plans (IDP)
-Develop and lead Organizational Leadership Review (OLR) process; align with enterprise timing and deliverables; ensure succession strategies and actions are on track and impactful
-Act as a catalyst/change agent by implementing recommendations that improve business operations
-Design, manage and implement new and existing learning and development activities to drive leadership growth
-Lead the annual Associate Opinion Survey (AOS) process to include implementation of the survey, dissemination and interpretation of results, action planning and pulse survey processes
-Facilitate training and development sessions
-Provide education around Talent Management programs and processes
-Assist in creating activities/programs to promote a positive culture and engaged associates
-Serve as a conduit to center learning and development team
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent; advanced degree a plus
-Eight to 10 years management experience in human resources
-Experience should include all areas of human resources
-Strong communication skills
-Outstanding associate relations expertise
-High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
-Proven relationship-building skills
-Ability to analyze business needs
-Demonstrated team orientation, motivation and flexibility
