North Central Mental Health Services, Inc. is a comprehensive, community-based mental health and substance abuse treatment and recovery agency serving Franklin County Ohio. We provide short-term outpatient and intensive treatment services to all age groups from children, adolescents, adults, older adults and families.
Caring, trained professionals help persons served deal with life problems and pressures in positive, constructive ways. Outpatient services help consumers deal with situational problems. Some clients, however, struggle with long term, intense mental disabilities.
North Central's Recovery Support Services program provides the support, treatment and encouragement needed to help consumers move toward recovery and independence. The goal of this department is to help each person served reach the highest level of performance possible, up to and including employment. The center's medical staff and residential programs assist people in reaching this goal.
In addition to its direct treatment programs, North Central emphasizes the importance of education and prevention services, including Suicide Prevention for schools, civic organizations, faith-based institutions and businesses.
Job Description
Permanent full-time position available within comprehensive mental health facility. Position will provide direct services to families and individuals, evaluation, assessment, prescribing of medication and monitoring, education, diagnoses and treatment options. Effectively communicate and work in conjunction with staff involved in patient treatment and participate in case consultation, complete necessary documentation related to direct services provided and, as necessary, assist in coordination of treatment and/or services of patients with primary care provider(s). Will provide 1,248 billable hours annually.
We offer a Monday-Friday work week, hours from 8a-5p. NO SHIFTS, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS, NO ROTATIONS OR ON-CALL SCHEDULE REQUIRED. Full-time, annual salary $100,000 with benefits to include medical/dental/vision care coverage, 401(k) with matching contribution, life/supplemental life and AD&D coverage, long-term disability, paid vacation, holidays, sick and personal days.
Requirements:
ANCC Certified as an advanced practice nurse practitioner with training in psychiatric nursing, licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing; or
Clinical Nurse Specialist with same credentials, prescriptive authority, knowledge of psychotropic drugs; and
DEA license with prescriptive authority.
Prior psychiatric experience preferred.
