The outside of frame measures 25"W x 43"L x 2 3/8" thick. The solid wood trim shown around mirror measures 4 1/2".Do not know the history of this, only that it looks to be around 100 years old. It does have some scratches due to age. The mirror itself was put in two separate pieces, and the top piece of glass broke.
