11 Macaw Tail Feather Fan Set
includes 3 matching secondary pairs & a Catalina center pair from various macaws,
a very rare orange yellow (or yellow-orange) hybrid Capri Macaw blue tip secondary pair
and a scarlet macaw center tail with a tiny blue tip. The feathers range in length from
approx. 19" to 21" long from the tip of the feather to the bottom of the quill. There are a few
natural imperfections, including a little barb loss, debris, or some roughness along an edge or tip.
The left side (viewing) Capri tail has 1/2" split quill about 3" down from the tip, could be glued,
but not really necessary. There is also minor barb loss at the tip. The right (viewing) side
Capri tail has a stress line at the lower center. The bottom quills are all in good condition.
The Catalina tails have some unusual dark & light variegation caused by changes in the
mineral content of the well water when it rains that is actually aesthetically quite pretty.
